Is Anyone Having Problems With the Lawrence, Indiana Utility, LLC?
lLawrence, Indiana Utility, LLC is not part of the "City of Lwarence." Evidently, they recently did some sort of audit, due to the construction involved in a new addition. Ten homes were caught in a Mafia type threat by the "company." These persons had no idea they were required to pay a sewer bill, becuse they had wells and not "city" water. After several years comes the "company," who threatens liens, adds huge penalties in additon to late charges, and threatens to cut these home owners off from the sewer line. In addition, these home owners are told they MUST pay sewer bill rates much higher than persons who are actually using "city" water. If you or anyone of you out in cyber-land know of any person experiencing problems, please reply to this question. The mayor of Lawrence, Debra Cantwell, campaigned on "cleaning" up smelly politics. The City of Lawrence won a lawsuit against the "company"; however, the suit is now in the hands of the appellate court.
