Need help!! What for software for small businesses.?
I am attempting to do the bookwork for my fiances farming and trucking businesses. The farming is pretty general, no livestock, crops of corn and beans, the usual. the trucking is just 4 semis that run local with grain and the occasional Flat Bed trailer. Right now we separate between the trucking account and the farm account. What software will work best to keep track of expenses, crop payments, grain tickets, etc. Thanks!
I know the industry standard is the Quickbooks. However, I HATE working with that program.
For my businesses, I use Quicken and create separate files for different businesses. It can track expenses, income, etc. Just make sure you categorize them correctly. It gets a little tricky if you invoice other businesses or have employees. If this is the case, you should go with Quickbooks. If it is a simple business and you just want to track income/expenses and where it is going. Quicken will work great for you.
