Car Enclosed Trailer
mounting winch in trailer?

I have a Enclosed Car Trailer and wanting to mount a winch. The trailer has 1/8″ I-beams as supports , would it be safe just to drill thru the I-beams and bolt it to the I-beams.Or should I put a piece of metal underneath.
